Happy Summer!
Summer is officially here and that means craft fairs!
With the arrival of June comes the start of summer craft fairs in our area! Along side my intermittent showings at the Sandpoint Farmers Market, I have several large local shows I’ll be attending this year! Starting with the Pend Oreille Art Council’s Artist Walk, my work will be in Colombia Bank on 5th St on the 3rd floor. The opening reception is tonight, and although I will not be able to attend, my work will be on display all summer with some of my work rotating out later in July or August.
I will also be returning to Schweitzer Mountain Resorts 7B Sunday again this year on June 26th. I’ll have prints of all my recent (below) and past artworks and several originals I’ve completed in the past year. I’ll also be in the Garden of Artistry this year at the Ponderay Garden Center July 22nd – 24th as well as the Pend Orielle Art Councils 45th Annual Craft Fair at City beach on August 13th -14th, finishing the season off at the Second annual Sandemonium, Sandpoint’s local Comic-con. Though I hope to participate in other shows this summer, no others have currently been added to our calendar, although I seem to have the bad habit of signing up for things at the last minute. If there are any other, prospective shows, I’ll be sure to update you here and on Facebook under our Events tab.
I’ll be returning from my trip home to visit family next week. Along with all of the above work, I have a long list of commissions I shall be completing over the next two weeks. I am also now taking slots for commission in July and August. If you have interest in custom work or are seeking prints that I may have forgotten to list on the Etsy page, please feel free to email me or message me through the contact or commissions page. Now that my website is nearing completion, all areas of my site are fully functional accept for the web store that has yet to be installed. The contact forms are all usable and the galleries are slowly being filled in. I am working on getting into the swing of posting regularly and keeping all my pages up to date. For the most current information on my work and the whereabouts of Weasels on Easels, follow us on Facebook and Intagram. As we near 1,000 likes on Facbebook, (did i just say 1,00? Holy cow!) I am in the planning for my next page give away. Stay tuned!
