At Ashaeda’s Desk
Wondering where your at in the queue?
The queue is available all times of day and night! Work in progress blocks are updated regularly with progress images, notations and more as it is available.
With Ashaeda’s recent neck injury they are limited in what they can do for work. Right now they are working on artwork to pass the time, as it is a project that is easy to move around and setup anywhere, in bed at their desk, etc. They have been able to work on art propped up on a board in bed with their neck brace so they aren’t straining to see what they are working on. The main piece they are focusing on is a piece of Ashaeda and their ancestors as a remembrance piece.
The second colored pencil piece they are working on is of Ube in their kigu. It is a smaller piece with lots of tiny details, they have been working on this piece on and off for a while now between suit making.
Ashaeda has also been working on digitally sculpting the hyena jaw set and tongue so they can be 3D printed and then finished by hand in clay once they have been prototype molded. All finish work on our parts is done in clay by hand, 3D printing is a symmetry tool we use as under work.
More tails! Ashaeda has made swift work of the scrap bins making them into more tails to be assembled by Arctonyx and Garrundt later this month. Right now both of them are busy with other projects so Ashaeda is helping with very small things here and there to help contribute to the studio flow besides working on artwork.

This month we have added our new hyena headbases! They are available in resin and foam and are now and options for clients to choose from for their builds.
Garrundt has been working with Ashaeda on some new artwork in a collab. They are doing lighting and helping block in backgrounds so Ashaeda can turn them into more finished traditional pencils pieces.
New nub tails! There is a new nub tail shape coming to the Weasels on Easels tail line, they are reminiscent of bear or other animals with similar shaped nub tails. We will be bringing them to our upcoming events.
Tails tails tails!!! We are doing a big restock of our fursuit tails for cons, we do not have many left from AFC, AZFC and BLFC so we have a lot to make for ANW and FC in January.
In big news, we moved storage units! We are now in 2 smaller units, one split in half for cons and personal items and the other is for all of our materials such as our fur hoard, NFT hoard, foam and more all in sealed labeled containers. It took us several long days of work to move and carefully organize everything but it should make things easier going forward.
New studio chairs for Arctonyx and Garrundt! We were finally able to get some better chairs for both of them with some of the funds from BLFC and AZFC. Instead of stools and a broken old chair we now have brand new comfy chairs we can set to our own specifications.
Back to casting! Coming home after so many events left us with a lot of catching up to do for making stock. We have been busy at work making resin parts, silicone parts, sewing tails, etc. We have a busy couple months ahead of us to get through ANW and FC.

Beyond the Studio
ANW 2025 and Further Confusion 2025
Our next convention is Anthro Northwest 2025 in Seattle, Washington, held on January 3-5th. The con is one of our favorites as it is the location where Ashaeda and Arctonyx first got engaged then married the following year. The con means a lot to us and is our favorite event of the year. It is such a chill vibes con with lots of hangout spots and things to do.
Okay here is the not so fun part of this update. During moving of storage earlier this month there was an accident where Ashaeda suffered a major neck injury, not putting this lightly it is serious and they should be given some compassion with not working right now. They are on very strict bed rest with a long list of “If this happens come in immediately for emergency surgery”. Need everyone to please give them your upmost patience and understanding right now. They are going in for a surgical consult in a few days to schedule and talk options for surgery, it is happening whether we like it or not. For the mean time Garrundt is handling work on the queue under Ashaeda’s guidance and supervision until they recover.
Upcoming Conventions
Conventions help us earn revenue that is used to order materials, cover business expenses and refunds without the need to open the queue. Con stock is primarily handled by Arctonyx and Garruntd.

Current Studio Health Status
Other health related updates in the studio are Garrundt has started therapy for their cptsd which is great, good progress is being made there. Arctonyx and Garrundt are feeling the cold weather shifting on their arthritis and are working together on more tools and healthier work strategies to better work with their disabilities going forward. They are both working longer hours to support Ashaeda’s health needs, lots of long slower moving days in the studio this month, but hopefully healing will go well for Ashaeda after surgery, it won’t be super fast but it will be better than it is now.
