At Ashaeda’s Desk
Wondering where your at in the queue?
The queue is available all times of day and night! Work in progress blocks are updated regularly with progress images, notations and more as it is available.
Khajiit has been worked on along side Anon Darss. We have found that working on two heads at once side by side decreases down time, waiting periods from cure times, etc. greatly over the course of the head making process. We are now implementing this process into queue work! It has been a big step for efficiency in the studio and tag teaming projects between Ashaeda and Garrundt.
On their weekends Ashaeda has been working on a series of Windstone Editions PYO’s in a “Toasted Tiger” theme. It is satisfying their itch to paint again, and giving them some extra funds for events and bettering the studio.
Ashaeda has fully detail shaved and hand trimmed Silver Wolf’s feet paws and is working on the hand paws next. There is a lot of love put into the hand trimming and final shaving of each part of a suit that makes the end result look clean and shapes accurate to the anatomy.
Ashaeda and Garrundt have been working on digital art together. Garrundt has many years of drawing digitally and is working with Ashaeda on transferring their traditional painting skills into digital work! This has been a long process but a worth while one for making digital assets for the business and product development such as digital refs, stickers, linearts, etc.
News in the Coffee Cavern
Check out our new products in the Etsy shop this month!
This month we have added our new hyena headbases! They are available in resin and foam and are now and options for clients to choose from for their builds.
New products in the works such as new stickers, new mystery parts boxes, new colors of our silicone parts line, etc. Lots of cool things in the works in the Coffee Cavern.
Garrundt and Arctonyx have been working on developing new casting methods and new colors for the entire silicone product line. Now introducing Brown as an addition to our standard line!
Garrundt and Ashaeda have been working on a new line of art supplies to be sold at cons going forward, including wet palettes! The wet palettes include sponges, wet palette specific paper, brushes, a brush towel, water dish and a convenient case to carry it all with you anywhere you go!

Beyond the Studio
AFC 2024
Our next scheduled con is Another Fur Con, followed by Arizona Fur con and BLFC back to back. We have been applying for BLFC for several years now and are very excited to possibly return for a second year in a row. We attended as vendors at BLFC last year and had a great time! We plan to apply for Midwest Furfest this year as well. We don’t have high hopes, but who knows. Worth a shot, right? We have been applying to as many events as we can and always apply to events we vend in prior years
Big news in the studio! Ashaeda got their new wheelchair! The new chair is: better fit, has side baffles to help with navigating in the rain without getting splashed by the wheels, an assist motor to help with mobility around difficult to navigate spaces, cup holder, holder mounts for their crutches, etc. The chair has given them more autonomy mobility wise, given them more freedom to visit places like the zoo to gather references for their wildlife artwork and realistic suit work, and personal enjoyment without the difficulty of mobility.
Upcoming Conventions
Conventions help us earn revenue that is used to order materials, cover business expenses and refunds without the need to open the queue. Con stock is primarily handled by Arctonyx and Garruntd.

Current Studio Health Status
Ashaeda is currently being evaluated for narcolepsy, that involves a bunch of labs and sleep study tests. In the mean time they have been recommended to start treatment for the time being because they are confident in the diagnosis. They also got new prism glasses! The vision problems have been resolved including the struggle with depth perception.

The cheerful yet grumpy darss we all love. He is the maker of all of our molds and printer of all things 3D. Arctonyx enjoys learning about unique communities and has an Anthropology degree. He is an avid rock collector and makes wire wrapped jewelry in his free time.
